Whether it's seeing a canvas of art, hearing a piece of music or smelling the aroma of a particular dish... you only have a few seconds to make an impact and lasting impression.
Your branding is your chance to put your best for forward. It is the difference between getting your foot in the door or a foot to the curb.

HUFFDZGN
I should explain my own logo first. I wanted a logo that would reflect who I am as a person so when a client comes to me, they know EXACTLY who they are dealing with even before we actually meet. The design is bold, energetic, loud and in your face! But... also simple, to the point and something that will stand out even though it is just "words on orange."

ROCKAWAY ARTS ACADEMY
This logo was for a music school that provided music lessons for all ages but had marketing that was geared toward their main audience... the parents. So this was something "rock and roll" but also soft, clean and trustworthy. The choice of using Arts Academy also enabled the school to do various instruments and creative arts.

CAYENNE HOSPITALITY
A local catering company wanted a logo that was simple, clean, professional.... but also had a bright red cayenne pepper on it! The challenge was to NOT make it look like the Chili's logo! Once we finalized the logo and had a few aprons and shirts printed with this on it, the client was super happy with the final design.

RESILIENCE MARTIAL ARTS & FITNESS
I studied martial arts growing up and was a black belt in karate so this project was something I had a lot of fun doing. This needed to be bold, in your face, easily recognizable and have a simple brand element that could be embroidered onto a uniform. The triangle symbolized strength while the 3 colors reflected the core elements of their training.

JENNIFER FOX HOMES
This logo was a design for a young female realtor that needed to stand out in a business where you can be easily lost. The logo needed to be feminine but bold... classic yet modern... young and hip, but also trustworthy. So the mixture of a soft gray, professional yet funky font and an icon that you could envision on HGTV sold this design to Jennifer.

MOURNING WOODCRAFT
This logo breaks a lot of rules I normally follow. But the business is a quirky "evil arts & crafts" pop up shop which needed to stand out but also blend in with the culture of Salem, Massachusetts. There are purposeful imperfections in the logo to give it a handcrafted feel but it's also clear enough for a tattoo which the owner now proudly has on his bicep.
